Industry: Trucking and logistics
Location: United States
Product: SaaS platform for CDL driver recruitment and DOT compliance
Client
The company is a US-based SaaS platform that helps trucking and logistics companies hire CDL drivers and manage driver compliance with DOT regulations. They offer tools for applicant tracking, employment verification, digital document management, and more. Their target customers include fleet managers, recruiters, and HR teams in small to mid-sized trucking companies.
They were growing fast, but their online visibility wasn’t keeping up.
Problem
Despite having a solid product, the company’s organic performance was not great. On dialing up, we found that:
- Anchor/ Jump URL: Their main service page used anchor links to explain multiple offerings. This confused Google and users as well, and made it hard to rank for any specific keywords.
- No structure for search terms: They didn’t have pages targeting their commercial keywords like “DQ file management” or “truck driver recruitment software.” These were the core features they provided.
- Low visibility vs. major competitors: They weren’t ranking for key industry terms, especially compared to legacy players.
- Compliance messaging was unclear: Their recruiting product had a clear pitch, but the compliance side didn’t. Visitors didn’t “get it” quickly.
Strategy
We knew we had to fix the foundation first, then grow traffic.

2. Recommended Competitor Comparison Pages:
We recommended creating dedicated comparison pages / competitor alternative pages , such as
These pages help potential customers make informed decisions, and give us a chance to rank for branded competitor keywords.
3. Built Helpful & Intent Driven Blog Content:
We created blog posts around relevant search topics, like
All of this content supported the main landing pages and answered real questions/problems recruiters were searching for on Google.

What This Shows
- If you want to rank, your site needs dedicated pages for each service
- Start with product intent. Build service pages for bottom-funnel terms before chasing awareness.
- Clear, simple language wins, especially in a complex industry like compliance
- Comparison pages are a powerful way to rank for competitor terms
This project proves that even in a niche B2B space, strategic SEO can change the game, especially when paired with smart positioning and clear content.
