1 Blog Post = 4928 Organic Clicks + 15 Leads

Client

A D2C wedding florist based in the U.S specializes in designing and delivering custom floral arrangements for weddings. Delivering across all 50 states of US.

Goal

-  The original goal was to increase organic traffic.

But my intent was a bit deeper.

- I wanted to create content that did more than just bring visitors. I wanted to answer real questions and turn readers into leads.

So I asked myself:

- What’s one thing every couple struggles with while planning a wedding?
Budgeting. Especially for flowers.

- Most people don’t know how much wedding flowers actually cost. And when they look online, all they get is vague information and no real numbers, no transparency, and definitely no guidance.

- That’s the gap I decided to fill.

Keyword - That Changed Everything

- During my keyword research, one question kept popping up: “How much do wedding flowers cost?”

- On my findings, it wasn’t a casual search.

- People Googling this were serious. They were already planning their wedding. That’s high intent! Perfect for a florist.

But when I checked the blogs' ranking for this keyword, none of them were helpful. They danced around the costs. No breakdowns. Just vague ranges like “it depends.”

That’s when I knew: if I could write a blog that answered this with clarity and honesty, we could outrank the fluff and win our readers' trust at the same time.

Next Thing I Did

- Wrote a blog that clearly explained wedding flower costs
- Broke down pricing by item: bridal bouquet, centerpieces, corsages, etc.
- Added % of savings in comparison to other florists
- Pulled images from the florist’s own portfolio to make it feel personal
- Added other helpful information like seasonal saving tips, etc
- Included a FAQ section to tackle follow-up questions.
- Optimized the post with : meta tags, headings, image alt text, internal links
- Set up tracking through Google Search Console and the website’s contact form

No hacks. Just a helpful piece that answered exactly what people were searching for.

The Result

  • Total Clicks: 4,928
  • Total Impressions: 652,321
  • Average CTR: 0.8%
  • Average Position: 16.1

Why It Worked

- The keyword had strong intent
- The content solved a real-world problem
- It gave more clarity than anything else online
- It felt personal, not robotic
- It was evergreen. We kept the prices updated every few months, so it stayed relevant
