A D2C wedding florist based in the U.S specializes in designing and delivering custom floral arrangements for weddings.
Problem
- My Client had national delivery coverage, but they weren’t showing up in local searches like “wedding florist in Miami” or “wedding flowers near me.”
- Despite strong branding and service, they were missing traffic (and trust) from people searching locally, which is exactly how most couples shop for florists.
Opportunity
We saw a gap to expand into untapped cities:
- While competitors focused on general SEO, no one was targeting local, city-specific wedding queries at scale.
- There was decent search demand for location-based keywords, but very few pages on the internet were answering them well.
- This gave us a chance to create high-intent content that could rank fast, feel personal, and actually drive awareness in new markets.
Goal
- Increase organic traffic through location-based searches
- Improve brand awareness in target cities
- Rank for long-tail local keywords with high commercial intent
Strategy
We designed and executed 70+ city-specific landing pages in Jan 2024, using a programmatic SEO setup.
Here’s what we did:
- Built a parent URL: /wedding-florist-near-me/ , a hub that links to all city pages
Each city page included:
- 200–300 words of manually written, local-specific content
- References to local wedding styles, flowers, and venues
- Real testimonials and photos from that city
- Mentions of average flower costs to build pricing clarity
- Internal linking from the hub page ensured all city pages were crawlable
- Local FAQs
Keyword formula:
- [City] + wedding florist
- [City] + wedding flowers
Variants adjusted based on GSC + Ahrefs data.
Results
📈 1.36M total impressions
🔍 4,410 organic clicks
👀 25,000+ pageviews across location pages
⚡️ Visibility boost started within 30–60 days for most URLs
