🧠 About

Swooped is an AI-powered platform offering resume builders, AI-generated cover letters, and career content. To increase organic discovery, the team aimed to build programmatic pages across high-intent, long-tail keywords — especially around job titles and cover letter examples.

 

🚧 Challenges

🔵The site lacked targeted landing pages for hundreds of long-tail search terms with job intent

🔵Existing commercial pages showed significant traffic drops due to on-page gaps and algorithm changes

🔵Programmatic pages were previously underperforming — due to thin content, poor interlinking, and lack of structured metadata

🔵There was no unified system to scale SEO efficiently while maintaining quality.

🔵Build a scalable SEO system to launch high-intent programmatic pages around job profiles and cover letters

🔵Improve internal linking and crawlability across newly added and legacy pages

🔵Stabilize traffic drops from commercial pages through targeted on-page updates

🔵Provide structured SEO reporting to track growth and uncover opportunities

 

🚀 Strategy

🔵Identify long-tail job + cover letter keyword clusters to build topical authority and capture underserved traffic.

🔵Build a structured database of 90+ programmatic pages, each optimized with 110+ custom fields.

🔵Use Claude + Sheets to automate metadata (titles, descriptions, CTAs) with intent-based logic.

🔵Strengthen internal linking, especially from blog & high-authority pages to deep programmatic content.

🔵Track performance and alignment using ClickUp timelines and weekly/monthly SEO reports.

 

⚙️ Execution (My Role)

As an assistant to the project lead, I supported end-to-end SEO execution across programmatic pages, commercial page optimization, and reporting workflows.

-Helped build and maintain a 90+ page database, each with 110+ content fields

-Used Claude + formula logic to automate metadata generation (titles, descriptions)

-Ensured on-page SEO consistency before publishing — meta tags, headers, canonical links

-Connected with content team to keep a check on timely deliverables.

-Supported the creation of internal linking maps across programmatic and blog pages

-Identified & fixed missing elements on WordPress pages — improving crawl depth and usability

 

🔹 Commercial Page Performance Audits

-Tracked GSC data to identify traffic loss on key URLs

-Flagged underperforming pages with click drops up to -57%, enabling corrective actions

-Contributed to weekly & monthly reports on keyword rankings, clicks, impressions, and page performance
