The answer depends heavily on where you are starting from.

If you are disciplined enough to create your own curriculum, find mentors, build projects, practise interviews, track your progress, and apply for jobs independently, you may not need an expensive program.

But if you repeatedly start courses and stop, struggle to understand what employers expect, cannot get feedback on your projects, or find technical interviews difficult, structured support can have real value.
