Inclusivity in Gaming

Gaming has always been a personal and overwhelmingly positive experience for many of us.

But sometimes you're in a free-to-play shooter, your crosshair is on the head, you click—miss—and you're dead. The frustration? More real than missing a deadline.

Now imagine you're a specially-abled gamer, playing with just 3 fingers on a mouse, trying to rank up. I came across a Reddit post about someone in exactly that position, and it hit hard.

But the good news is that gaming giants like Logitech and Microsoft are already pushing boundaries on accessibility. They’re building gaming kits that empower specially abled players to play and compete, including at events like the Special Olympics.

So here's my question:
👉 Can Indian game developers and creators build similar experiences within their own constraints?
👉 And even more importantly, can we build the platforms and communities to support this vision socially, not just technically?

India’s esports scene is evolving fast and initiatives like WAVES Esports Championship have started building an inclusive future.

Let’s make sure no gamer is left behind—regardless of gender, background, or ability.
