Objective:

*  As grewing up in a middle class family and before coming to college, always wanted to see myself in companies like amazon and google. Invited Deepika on my podcast to know her journey of cracking Amazon and getting 70lpa ctc.

* In today's fast-paced and technology-driven world, proficiency in data structures and algorithms has become an essential skill for students seeking successful placements and internships. Whether it is landing a dream job in a top-notch company or securing an internship opportunity at a prestigious organization, the mastery of these fundamental concepts holds immense importance for several reasons. 

* Data structures and algorithms form the backbone of technical interviews conducted by most companies during the hiring process. Employers evaluate candidates based on their problem-solving abilities, algorithmic thinking, and understanding of data structures. Proficiency in data structures and algorithms is one such skill that demonstrates a student's readiness to tackle complex tasks and contribute meaningfully to a company's projects.

What I did

• Cold dmed deepika multiple times on linkedin and then we finalise the dates for a podcast.
• Well researched about, what I am going to ask and how this will be beneficial for college students.
• Asked some important questions related to DSA, Development, Importance of CGPA, College life, Her Placement Journey, Why She Left Paytm, Resources for Preparation, Roadmap for 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year Students, some tips,etc.

Important Key Sections:

• Placements: When did she get to know about the idea of placement and when did she seriously started it.
• Roadmaps: What's the preferable roadmaps for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students.
• Linkedin: How linkedin help her in landing his jobs, and why linkedin is important for college students.
• Cracking Amazon: Story of Getting Rejected 36 times from Amazon  and then getting into Amazon again.
• Resources: What resources she followed to crack Amazon, her strategy and some tips.

Learnings:

• DSA is important: If you are someone, who wants to crack FAANG companies, then you can not leave DSA, you have to practice it at some good levels.
• Environment: Deepika shared the story of their friends about how they are helping each other, and growing each other, so environment plays a major role in what you are going to become.
• Rejections: If you are rejected from somewhere that does not mean you are not capable, maybe at that time you are not good enough, but keep trying again and again.
• Linkedin: This tool is really helpful for you, she get referals in paytm, amazon, and various companies through linkedin. So start getting active on it and make some good and meaningful connection.
