Bento Bliss was a branding project focused on creating a clean, modern, and memorable identity for a sushi bar brand. The goal was to make the branding feel minimal yet playful while still reflecting the premium and aesthetic feel associated with modern Japanese dining.
Since food branding relies heavily on visuals and first impressions, I wanted the identity to feel recognizable, balanced, and adaptable across different touchpoints like packaging, menus, social media, and signage.
I started the project by exploring the overall personality and visual tone of the brand before moving into logo explorations. The direction was inspired by modern Japanese aesthetics, minimal restaurant branding, and contemporary packaging design.
One of the main focuses was creating a branding system that felt clean and scalable instead of designing just a standalone logo. I experimented with typography, spacing, logo structures, and visual balance to keep the identity modern without making it feel visually crowded or overly traditional.
The biggest challenge was balancing simplicity with personality. I wanted the branding to feel premium and modern while still maintaining warmth and visual character.
To solve this, I focused heavily on typography hierarchy, spacing consistency, controlled color usage, and simple recognizable forms that could work across both digital and physical branding applications.
