Generating 1500+ UGC under #tagmangoinfluencer within 2 weeks.

Problem: In October 2019, when TagMango is seeing a great success rate with its campaigns, we faced a particular branding problem. Influencers were not attaching themselves as a "TagMango Influencer" just like they would associate themselves as a "Plixxo Influencer". 

Solution: Introduce a contest campaign.

The rules were simple:

  1. Upload any content on Instagram. 
  2. Tag @tagmangoofficial
  3. Put #tagmangoinfluencer as one of the first hashtags. 

Reward: The top 9 posts get featured every week on our Instagram profile.

Results:

  1. The posts under #tagmangoinfluencer went from "Fewer than 100" to "1000+", having over 1500 posts in under 2 weeks. Subsequently leading to 5000+ posts in a few weeks. 
  2. A surge in new enquiries from brands.
  3. A 2X increase in organic signups.
