I recently worked on a project to develop a delivery app for a restaurant. The aim of the app was to enable customers to easily order food for delivery from the restaurant, while also providing a convenient interface for the restaurant staff to manage the orders and deliveries. To achieve this, I used Flutter to create a cross-platform app that could run on both iOS and Android devices. The app featured a simple, user-friendly interface that allowed customers to browse the restaurant's menu, select their items, and place an order for delivery. Customers could also track the progress of their order, from preparation to delivery. On the restaurant side, I implemented a powerful order management system that allowed the staff to view and manage orders in real-time. The staff could view orders as they came in, mark orders as in-progress, and assign orders to specific delivery drivers. The app also included a feature for the restaurant to send push notifications to customers to keep them updated on their order status. The app was designed with scalability in mind, so it could easily handle high volumes of orders and traffic. The codebase was well-organized and easy to maintain, allowing for future updates and improvements as needed. Overall, I am proud of the work I did on this project and believe that the app will greatly improve the restaurant's delivery service and customer experience.
