For my minor project at MyCaptain’s Digital Marketing Pro Course, I conducted a comprehensive YouTube audit and developed a detailed action plan for the Amul – The Taste of India YouTube channel. Over 4 to 5 hours, I researched top keywords used by the brand and its competitor (Mother Dairy), analyzed content quality, engagement metrics, subscriber behavior, and audience interests. Based on this analysis, I identified the brand’s strengths such as high production quality, emotional storytelling, and consistent content output and areas for improvement like low engagement, lack of community interaction, and limited content diversity. Using these insights, I created a week by week content strategy that includes a mix of long form videos, Shorts, community engagement posts, and collaborations aimed at boosting interaction, brand trust, and viewership. This project helped me apply research tools, improve content planning skills, and understand how storytelling, trends, and audience connection can drive growth on YouTube.
