A hardware eCommerce brand needed to boost their Domain Rating (DR) and site authority — starting from just 1.1.
I worked alongside our off-page SEO team, leading the research, keyword targeting, prospect sorting, and backlink quality review process.
- Strategically select landing pages & find relevant high-volume keywords
- Filter and sort 25-30 high-quality backlink prospects from a list of 200+ potential sites
- Ensure link activeness, and indexation of sites
1. Keyword & Landing Page Research:
Identified the most valuable keywords and target necessary landing pages for backlinking.
2. Prospect Sorting:
Filtered, and sorted backlink opportunities based on relevance, domain authority, and niche fit, from a list of over 200 sites to maintain niche authority and gain useful traffic.
3. Link Quality Review:
- Checked prospect links for activeness and health.
- Ensured backlink pages were properly indexed and contextual; undertook this exercise twice every month to maintain link quality throughout.
- Rejected low-value or risky links to protect brand trust.
4. Team Collaboration:
Worked closely with the outreach team to align research findings with execution and track live backlink placements.
Domain Rating: 1.1 ➡ 25
Referring Domain: 31 ➡ 64 i.e., +107% growth
Organic Traffic Growth: 388 ➡ 470 (in April, 2025) i.e., increased by +21%
Referral Traffic Growth: 28 ➡ 45 i.e., +60% growth
