Case Study:Design an ATM for the Elderly

This case prompted me to move from curiosity to action.
Imagine Sunita Devi, a 50-year-old domestic worker. She avoids ATMs due to limited tech exposure and physical challenges. Her statement, "I’ve never been good with machines... I worry I might press the wrong button," encapsulates the apprehension felt by many elders.

By 2050, nearly 22% of the global population will be aged 60 and older, making it imperative that our banking infrastructure evolves to meet their needs.🏦

In this case study, we explore:
1. The unique challenges faced by elderly users like Sunita.
2. Design solutions such as voice-activated commands, multi-lingual support, and ergonomic adjustments.🎙️
3. The positive impact of implementing these solutions, leading to increased autonomy and reduced financial vulnerability for elderly individuals. 💸
