Competitor Analysis - Online Interior Design Industry

It all began with a client hoping to carve a niche in an expanding online interior-design market. But before heading in, they had to answer an important question:

The first step is asking, “What are our competitors doing and how can we leverage growth?”

That's where I came in. As a freelance marketer, I was given the responsibility to do a deep dive into the competitive landscape. My mission? To learn not only who the competition was, but what tactics they were using to capture and engage their audiences.

I delved into:

🔹 Positioning – Where do competitors stand in the market?

🔹 Pricing & Services – What services do they provide and at what price?

🔹 Digital Strategies – What is their social media, content, and website strategy?

🔹 SWOT – Where do they win, and where are the gaps we can explore?

The objective was to pinpoint potential opportunities where my client could enter and create a brand that is unique, strategic, and customer-centric. Once I had summarized the lessons learnt and consolidated the feedback, I directly translated it into a concise and to-the-point presentation that was meant to create momentum, act as a tool for innovation, as well as a guideline on the next steps. 📊💡
