Strategy and Execution:

  • We developed a Google Ads strategy focused on increasing app installs in Northern Kerala. This was supported by creating a strong content bundle including videos, images, and infographics aimed at attracting potential users.
  • The campaign ran for several weeks, using multiple ad formats to promote the app. Our content mix helped engage users, driving more app installations.
  • Target Area: Northern part of Kerala.

Results:

  • App Installs: 724
  • Clicks: 13.3K
  • Cost per Install: ₹18.36 (below the benchmark of ₹22)
  • Total Cost: ₹13,289 INR

Challenges and Solutions:

  • Challenge 1: The app only served specific regions in Kerala, which initially led to non-quality app installs.
    • Solution: We used Google's advanced location targeting to exclude areas outside the app's service zones, improving the quality of installs.
  • Challenge 2: Scarcity of engaging content.
    • Solution: We created a diverse set of content, including reels, videos, and posters, which increased app engagement and contributed to better campaign results.
