Objective:

The objective of "Embracing the Urban Sunset: A Retro Punk Portfolio" was to create a distinctive collection of streetwear that seamlessly integrates retro punk aesthetics with contemporary urban styles. The goal was to design innovative and bold fashion pieces that not only stand out in the market but also capture the essence of the urban sunset, reflecting vibrant yet gritty cityscapes through fashion.

Project Duration:

The project took approximately one semester, or 3-4 months, to complete. This period encompassed the entire design process, from initial concept development to the final assembly of the garments.

Design Process:

As part of the design process, five sketches for male streetwear and five sketches for female streetwear were created. From these, one design from each category was selected and brought to life, resulting in two unique and high-quality streetwear pieces.

Tools Used:

- Sketchbook: For initial sketching and conceptual drawings.

- Adobe Illustrator: For detailed and precise sketches of garment components.

- Canva: For compiling mood boards, inspiration boards, and final presentations.\

Project Context:
This project was undertaken independently as part of my B.Tech in Fashion Technology program at Kumaraguru College of Technology. It focused on creating streetwear, and I managed the entire design and development process from concept to production.
