NYVO | Brand Launch Reel
Objective: For this project, I edited a launch reel for NYVO, a finance brand, with the goal of introducing the brand and creating curiosity around what it offers.
Challenge: The challenge was to take a finance-focused concept and turn it into something that felt visually interesting and easy to follow, without making it feel like a typical finance advertisement.
What I focused on:
- Creating curiosity from the opening and maintaining engaging pacing
- Using cinematic B-roll and visual metaphors to communicate financial concepts
- Mixing real-world footage with digital and finance-focused visuals
- Using typography and on-screen text to support the story
- Using music and sound design to add energy and momentum
- Keeping the overall edit fast-paced and suited to Instagram Reels
I wanted the final reel to feel more like a visual story than a conventional finance ad, while still communicating the brand's message clearly and leaving a strong first impression.
