For this assignment, I edited a long-form speech by SaveLIFE Foundation’s Founder & CEO into a short cinematic storytelling video designed for YouTube and social media platforms.
The objective was to transform the speech into a more emotionally engaging and retention-focused experience while preserving the authenticity and impact of the original story.
The edit follows the journey from childhood dreams and rejection to personal loss, purpose, and social change. I focused heavily on emotional pacing, storytelling flow, and audience engagement throughout the video.
I wanted the final video to feel inspiring, cinematic, and socially meaningful instead of just a simple cutdown from a longer speech.

AI assistance was limited to brainstorming ideas and refining presentation elements. The editing, storytelling structure, subtitles, transitions, motion graphics, thumbnail design, and overall creative execution were done manually by me. This assignment was genuinely meaningful to work on because the story behind SaveLIFE Foundation’s mission is powerful, emotional, and impactful.
