Project Overview

This reel pushed me to go beyond simple editing—it involved refining raw footage, sourcing and organizing assets, building a storyboard, and bringing the animation to life. It was more challenging than I expected, but the process strengthened my workflow and gave me a big confidence boost as an editor.

Key Challenges & Learnings

Asset Creation & Collection – Finding the right assets was a major task, and I had to get creative in sourcing and tailoring them to fit the project.

Story Visualization – Planning how the animation would flow required careful storyboarding and visualization.

Sound Refinement – The original voice recording had distracting noise, which I cleaned up with advanced sound correction techniques.

Transitions & Effects – I polished my skills with advanced transitions and perfected the use of light leak effects, which have now become a strong part of my editing toolkit.

I handled this project completely on my own, using:

Adobe After Effects – For animation, visual design, and effects
