HUE is a poetic short film exploring emotional displacement, regret, and identity — seen through the inner conflict of a writer who chooses his hometown in the Himalayas over city life, only to realise that both the place and he himself have changed.
The objective was to tell a deeply personal, mood-driven story using minimal dialogue and strong visual rhythm.
Editing Process & Timeline
The edit took around 2–3 weeks, including rough cuts, pacing revisions, sound design, and final color balance. A major focus was maintaining emotional flow — letting moments breathe while avoiding narrative stagnation.
Pricing for Similar Work
For editing a story-driven short film with a cinematic approach, I would charge 150-200 USD depending on duration, revisions, and creative depth.
