From chaos to clarity: My MS Project journey at Metro Precision Aerospace.
As a Project Intern at Metro Precision Aerospace, I created a complete end-to-end project plan in Microsoft Project for 87 components. I developed a detailed Work Breakdown Structure, mapped activity dependencies, built a full project schedule, and designed a Gantt chart with critical path, milestones, and resource allocation. I also tracked progress using baseline vs. actual comparisons and identified delays caused by machine downtime, proposing mitigation strategies.
This project introduced formal project management practices to the company and improved workflow visibility, decision-making, and production planning.
