Developed a biocompatible gelatin-based hydrogel incorporating zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles for tissue regeneration and wound healing applications. Synthesized and characterized ZnO nanoparticles using XRD, FTIR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, SEM, and EDX to evaluate their structural, optical, and morphological properties. Fabricated ZnO-loaded hydrogels and assessed their swelling behavior, biocompatibility (MTT assay), and wound healing potential through in vitro scratch assays. The project demonstrated the potential of ZnO-incorporated hydrogels as promising biomaterials for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
