A few months ago, I was really struggling with my mental health. I felt stressed, unhappy, and couldn't stop overthinking. This led to sleep problems and made it hard to focus on my work.
I realized that I needed professional help because I couldn't handle it on my own. So, I started going for therapy sessions.
In short, therapy has changed how I see life now.
I've become better at handling my emotions and thoughts. But getting therapy or mental health help is not easy. It's hard to find and costs a lot of money.
And there's also a lot of people who think it's bad to ask for help.
I think therapy is like going to a regular doctor when you're sick. To start with therapy, you can try online options to help with anxiety.
If you know someone who's struggling, you can share these useful resources I found in my journey:
👉 The Alternative Story : "pay what you can", it's really good for students, homemakers, and people just starting to work.
👉 The Mind Clan: It's a good place to find support groups and therapist.
👉 Level SuperMind : It’s good app to Practise mediation and I like sleep stories on app. I really enjoyed all of their Workshops they did few years back.
👉 The Yoga Institute Mumbai : I attended their 21-day yoga course & Regular Online Asana Classes.
👉 Mental Resources shared by Atharva Kharbade on his website.
👉 Rocket Health : Their Discord Community is really awesome.
👉 Satvic Movement : 21 Day Ultimate Health Challenge , especially Week 2 & 3 I really enjoyed.
👉 I heard Spiritual discourses on Bhagavat Gita and read spiritual books.
👉 Subconsciously , a mental wellbeing community I and my friend are trying to build . (link in description)
