WoW Geni - An Ecommerce Website 

Wow Geni is a government-backed social commerce platform dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs and Self Help Groups (SHGs) by providing them with a trusted digital space to showcase and sell their products and services.

The platform was officially launched on March 8th, International Women’s Day, in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu, and received prestigious recognition from both the Guinness World Records and the World Records Union for its large-scale, women-led entrepreneurial initiative.

Developed in collaboration with MEPMA and supported by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Wow Geni offers a low commission model (5–10%), making it more accessible and seller-friendly than mainstream service platforms. The platform is already integrated with ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce), enabling wider market access and digital visibility for grassroots-level sellers.

Operations are structured around 26 District Hubs, where vendors—categorized as “Pro” or “Beginner”—undergo documentation, quality checks, and onboarding, with final approvals managed through a Master Admin dashboard.

To enhance user experience, Wow Geni is also integrating AI-powered support via Smatbot and WhatsApp Business tools for real-time authentication, tracking, and customer communication.

With a successful launch in Andhra Pradesh, the platform is now gearing up for expansion into Telangana, Karnataka, and Kerala, continuing its mission to transform local entrepreneurship through technology, inclusivity, and empowerment.

My Role 

I acted as a cross-functional Product Manager for WoW Geni, collaborating with design, technical, and business teams to enhance platform usability, streamline vendor onboarding workflows, and drive feature development aligned with user experience goals. Played a key role in integrating AI-powered support tools (Smatbot, WhatsApp Business) and ONDC network connectivity, directly contributing to platform scalability and market expansion.
