I completed my undergraduate degree in Business Marketing. While attending college, I used marketing concepts from different classes to create an an in-home personal training service. I was a certified personal trainer at a franchise gym, but decided I could attain better work/life/financial balance on my own. The lessons learned from managing all aspects of a service based business provided me with valuable lessons in sales, marketing, tax liability, customer service, and branding. I still use and develop those important skills on a day-to-day basis.
