STEMpower-Visa Entrepreneurial and Financial Education Training

I'm delighted to announce that I've been part of #Cohort_8 STEMpower-Visa Entrepreneurial and Financial Education Training held at AAiT (Addis Ababa University 5 Kilo) in May 2023.

This was an immersive, in-person, and project-based learning program given by STEMpower Training Center in association with VISA.

Through this training, I've gained valuable insights into how to organize and prepare:
- Money Management
- Means of Funding
- Financial Statement
- Financial Plan
- Financial Analysis Project
- Business Structure and Taxation System (Taxation System in Ethiopia)
- Ethiopian Standard Industrial Classification
- Business Model Canvas

I've amassed a different set of skills and learned tons on:
- How to break down a set goal/milestone using the Goal/Milestone Breaking-down Worksheet
- How to build a certain project by filling out the Business Model Canvas by including Customer Segment, Value Proposition, and Cost Structure among other components
- Managing a team of 8 members
- Building a rapport and an everlasting friendship with the team members I was involved with
- Taking mentorships seriously and doing projects on time
