Project Overview

This project involved designing an information and itinerary booklet for Yuva Sangam, a youth exchange initiative under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat campaign by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The goal was to create a visually engaging yet formal publication that detailed the program’s objectives, itinerary, activities, and destinations.

Design Approach

The layout was crafted to balance official clarity with youthful vibrancy, making the content accessible and visually engaging for student participants while maintaining the formality expected of a government publication.

Color Palette:
The booklet extensively used the Indian tricolor (saffron, white, and green), subtly woven throughout the design to reinforce national identity and align with the initiative’s theme.

Typography:
A clean, legible font pairing was chosen to ensure readability, with visual hierarchy maintained through consistent use of headings, subheadings, and infographics.

Visual Elements:
Included highlight boxes, and photographs of key destinations and cultural landmarks, all curated to enhance engagement and support the narrative of cultural exchange.

Outcome

The final deliverable was a professionally formatted, print-ready booklet that served as both a practical guide and a cultural souvenir. It successfully captured the spirit of the program—celebrating unity in diversity—while adhering to the formal aesthetic of a government-led initiative.
