Social Welfare Schemes: Implementation Analysis

This data analysis project examined the implementation effectiveness of three Bihar Government social welfare schemes (Bihar State Disability Pension, Laxmi Bai Social Security Pension, and Bihar Social Security Pension) through exploratory data analysis of the e-Labharthi portal dataset for Arwal district. 

The comprehensive analysis revealed critical insights including demographic patterns (55.5% female, 44.4% male beneficiaries with 93.8% residing in rural areas), significant infrastructure gaps (56.5% of beneficiaries lacking Aadhaar cards, <1,000 possessing voter IDs), banking preferences favoring Madhya Bihar Gramin Bank and Punjab National Bank, and the Bihar Disability Pension Scheme showing highest enrollment rates. 

Using advanced EDA techniques, the study identified rural-urban disparities, documented socioeconomic correlations, and provided data-driven recommendations for policy optimization, including awareness campaigns for digital documentation, strategic banking partnerships, and targeted development initiatives. 

This analysis demonstrated proficiency in government dataset analysis, demographic pattern recognition, multi-dimensional comparative analysis, and the ability to translate complex administrative data into actionable policy insights for improving social welfare delivery mechanisms across Bihar's administrative structure.
