Why It Matters: Do not calculate the total cost from the EMI alone. Ask for the complete fee, GST, duration, number of instalments, financing terms, refund policy, and any conditions attached to placement assistance before enrolling.
My answer is that Newton School can be valuable for learners who need structured technical training and career support, but the ROI depends on the exact program and your starting point.
If you are starting from zero and want to enter software development or data science, a structured program can save you from spending months jumping between unrelated tutorials. Mentorship, projects, coding practice, mock interviews, and career support can provide a more organised path.
If you already have strong software engineering skills, however, you may not need a long general program. You might get better ROI from a specialised AI course, open-source contributions, real projects, direct applications, or targeted interview preparation.
The same applies to data science. If you already understand Python, SQL, statistics, machine learning, and analytics, joining a beginner-level program may not add enough value.
The important thing is to calculate ROI from your own situation rather than from the highest package displayed on a website.

This is why I believe in proof of work in hiring. A certificate tells an employer that you completed a course, while a project gives them something they can actually evaluate.
I would also recommend building a career portfolio that actually gets jobs. Your portfolio should not be a folder containing screenshots and certificates. It should explain what you built, why you built it, what decisions you made, and what changed because of your work.
