Brand: Brokode
Role: Co-Founder & Creative Head
Objective:
Build a distinctive youth-forward streetwear label rooted in bold, quirky storytelling and original designs, not just to sell T-shirts, but to create a brand that speaks attitude, relatability, and culture.
Limitations:
• No external design or branding team, everything conceptualized in-house.
• Bootstrapped operations: limited resources for prototyping and experimentation.
• Navigating printing logistics and quality control with zero prior manufacturing experience.
Timeframe:
Ongoing: launched and scaled the brand across multiple design drops over several months
Scope of Work:
• Designed every T-shirt graphic and typography-based print from scratch, reflecting Gen Z humour, pop references, desi sarcasm, and niche subculture aesthetics
• Built a cohesive visual language for Brokode, from product tags to packaging and digital presence
• Oversaw the entire print production process: fabric selection, vendor coordination, print test approvals, and quality checks
• Curated and styled product photoshoots and lookbooks, ensuring each drop told a fresh visual story
• Managed e-commerce layout and brand social media to drive organic reach and audience loyalty
• Successfully sold through multiple batches of limited edition pieces, building a tight-knit community around the brand
• Launched and designed special collection T-shirts for limited time on trends like Squid Game & Coldplay
