Long video intro edit in After Effects
I started with the raw video and built the intro using subtle motion. I added text that fades in while the video slightly zooms, which I achieved by parenting the footage to a null layer and animating the scale.
When the speaker mentioned companies, I wanted something more creative. So I designed five circles with colors that match the scene, added a bit of wiggle for movement, and created a looping rectangle animation using trim paths. I duplicated that layer and animated scale and opacity to give a smooth fading effect.
Towards the end, I added another gentle zoom on the video along with text highlights to emphasize the numbers he was talking about.
