Beacon.li is an AI-powered enterprise SaaS implementation orchestration platform that automates the gap between a signed deal and realized revenue a gap that costs companies an average of 4–6 months and 189% cost overruns per implementation.
The objective of this self-initiated project was to independently study Beacon's product architecture, positioning, and competitive landscape, and then propose a strategic product roadmap that meaningfully extends the platform's capabilities.
The output was an 11-idea product strategy spanning two layers
1) Platform Orchestration and
2) AI Agent Orchestration covering features like an Agent Control Studio that makes AI agents governable at enterprise scale, a Change Impact Predictor that catches configuration errors before UAT, a Legacy Data Readiness Agent that eliminates the top cause of cutover failures, and a Safe Simulation Mode that removes the single biggest procurement blocker in regulated industries.
Every idea was architected to fit within Beacon's existing no-backend-access model, not generic feature suggestions, but product bets grounded in the platform's actual constraints and positioning. The value generated was real: the project was recognized by Beacon's founder and leadership, leading directly to interview advancement and demonstrating the ability to independently identify product gaps, define AI agent strategy, and communicate roadmap vision to senior stakeholders.

Research and competitive analysis: Used Claude to conduct deep product research on Beacon's website, positioning, architecture, and competitive landscape synthesizing insights across Rocketlane, Gainsight, Whatfix, and ServiceNow into a structured gap analysis and SWOT in a fraction of the time manual research would take. Ideation and roadmap thinking: Used Claude as a strategic thinking partner to generate, stress-test, and refine 40+ raw product ideas across four independent research sets, then deduplicate and consolidate them into 15 mutually exclusive, high-quality product bets ranked by strategic value, feasibility, and differentiation. Product evaluation and PRD writing: Used Claude to conduct a senior CPO-level evaluation of all 12 finalized ideas producing brutally honest ratings, pain-to-solution maps, risk assessments, and prioritization tables that formed the backbone of the product submission document. Design and UI: Used Lovable to build a production-grade, three-page product showcase website (beacon-li-boost.lovable.app) from detailed design prompts specifying Beacon's exact color palette, typography, atmospheric dark section backgrounds, Zippy mascot animations, and component hierarchy matching beacon.li's visual identity closely enough to feel like a native extension of the real site. Coding and deployment: Lovable generated the full React and Tailwind codebase across three iterative prompts. Claude was used to write precise, detailed master prompts that guided Lovable's output treating prompt engineering itself as a product skill.
