TOKEN2049 Trend-Based Marketing Case Study
This was part of my application for the Content Marketing Manager role at TOKEN2049, where I was asked to create a campaign around a rising trend in crypto.
Instead of just picking a random topic, I treated it like a real project.
I wanted to show how a major event like TOKEN2049 can own a narrative, not just participate in it.
Here’s what I did:
✅ Chose a breakout trend that’s gaining serious attention in the crypto space: Real World Assets (RWAs).
✅ Chose Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock, as the anchor speaker. His public shift on crypto and tokenization gave us a perfect opportunity to lead the conversation.
✅ Then crafted a full omni-channel marketing plan to position TOKEN2049 as the place where the most important conversations around RWAs are happening.
The strategy included:
✅ Storytelling-first content for Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram, and YouTube
✅ A mix of hooks, tweet samples, and narrative angles tailored to each platform
✅ Thoughtful sequencing of pre-event hype, live engagement, and post-event content
✅ Clear CTAs to drive ticket sales, speaker visibility, and event buzz
