Corporate Audit Staff (CAS) is a 110-year-old, premier internal audit & leadership development organization within GE. With 3 rotations a year in different GE businesses globally, CAS members get valuable hands-on experience by conducting comprehensive reviews of GE businesses collaborating with the CIO/CISO/CFOs in areas of financial reporting, cyber security, risk management & strategy.

Product Development

- Corporate | Managed concept-to-launch of a data analytics product to perform smarter balance sheet risk assessments for the financial auditor persona. Liaised with E&Y & finance controllership function of GE businesses to establish the overall road map for the product. Leveraged analytics and data science capabilities to project insights and guide stronger, more targeted auditing. Overlooked the development, beta release, documentation and training.
- Lean Initiative | Developed data-visualizations (Tableau) to monitor & aggregate near real-time audit result KPIs by strongly integrating the voice of the customer leading to reduction of manual effort by 97% and highlighted additional insights.

Technical, Strategy

- Healthcare, Corporate | In an agile setup, substantiated the risk of unmointored APIs. Created solutions to discover & sustainably inventory them, and defined the near-term API security governance next steps 
- Aviation, Corporate | Substantiated the risk of external threat to the network perimeter by developing a solution to discover previously unknown entry-pathways leveraging internal and publicly available data
- Healthcare | Led the IT resiliency audit for critical applications and assessment of business readiness

- Renewable | Audited the vendor cybersecurity lifecycle management & established the risks associated with the digital inter-connections between GE and the vendors
