Attended a Beginner Acting Workshop & Performed for a Live audience!

My First Theatre Workshop

Earlier in 2024, I set out on an exploration journey. It was a season of experimentation, of following curiosities wherever they led me.

The workshop, Enter Stage Right, spread across three weekends, was designed to introduce beginners like me to the world of theatre. When they told us we’d be putting on a ticketed show, I was both thrilled and terrified!

Tales In Transit: Here's the Trailer for the show.

I performed in one of the six short plays, Happy Wala Ending

It was my first time learning lines, rehearsing scenes, and understanding how much energy and precision it takes to bring a character to life.

We worked under the guidance of an experienced director who gently nudged us past our inhibitions. Over the week, we had physical rehearsals and online meetups to refine our performances.

It wasn’t just about acting—it was about meeting a part of myself I’d left behind years ago. The whole process was so much fun, childlike, and alive.

I laughed a lot, learned even more, and left with memories I’ll cherish forever.

Now I know why we call a play, a PLAY!

P.S.: Even though we were explicitly told that this certificate has no value, still... here it is!
