 Joe Biden, the US president, revealed a plan directing American forces to construct a temporary port along Gaza's coastline. This initiative aims to increase the supply of humanitarian relief amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. Biden said that this operation would not require deploying U.S. personnel on the ground for pier construction. Instead, the newly established port will facilitate the delivery of crucial medical facilities, food, and water to those who are in dire need. This action brings out the president's commitment to reduce suffering and ensure aid reaches the suffering population.

The State of the Union address arises from a constitutional obligation for the President to periodically update Congress on the nation's condition. For Biden, this speech presents a chance to spotlight America's robust economic performance, advocate for increased tax contributions from affluent individuals and large corporations, and address public apprehensions regarding his age. Simultaneously, his reelection campaign intends to contrast Biden's stances with Trump's positions on abortion rights, fiscal policies, taxation, and initiatives impacting black and Latino communities, as revealed in newly released strategy memos. This address allows the president to convey his vision.

A future securing our rights and protecting other freedoms, not robbing them away at any cost. A future generation will give the middle class a fair and equal opportunities while ensuring the wealthy people contribute their share through taxation for social welfare. A future rescuing our planet from climate change and protect our nation from violence and inhuman aggression." Above all, Biden proclaimed, "I see a future for all Americans! A nation welcomes all citizens! And I will forever be president for every American! I believe in America and in the American people. You American are the driving force behind my optimistic attitude towards our future! So let's design the future together! Let us recall our identity for our strength and development! We are the United States of America. When we unite, no challenge can shatter our collective capacity." 

Supported humanity over war

While addressing the State of Union, President Joe Biden promised that America's efforts would continue until all hostages returned home safely. He supported Israel's right to respond to the fatal Hamas attack.

We've been working day and night to stop ceasefire between these countries." Supporting Israel's leadership, he declared, "Essential aid to needy people cannot be mistreated as a political step or geopolitical strategy. Safeguarding and preserving innocent lives must be our priority. As we look ahead, the only reliable solution lies in a resolution between  these two states." The president reinforced his commitment to ensure the well-being of all affected people while praying for peace and their security.

Stand with NATO

Joe Biden's guests included Swedish PM Ulf Kristersson, highlighting Biden's support for NATO amid Sweden's formal accession and contrasting Trump's stand. Other attendees were individuals affected by rights issues, a veteran of Bloody Sunday in Selma, and UAW President Shawn Fain. Biden aimed to address pivotal matters like rights, justice, and global alliances.

Concern about excessive immigration  

In his final State of the Union speech of this term, Biden highlighted the problem of migrant people, talking about Laken Riley, a 22-year-old nursing student allegedly killed by immigrants in Georgia. With a serious tone, he stated, "Instead of arguing about the border, we need to solve it as soon as possible." Biden's straightforward remarks highlighted his concern to address this complex issue pragmatically while acknowledging its negative result.

Assured to bring down drug prices

Biden also ensured to bring down excessive prescription drug prices, stating, "Americans pay the highest prices worldwide; it's wrong, and I'm ending it." He announced a law he signed to "finally beat Big Pharma," which received no Republican support. With clear language, Biden highlighted his efforts to make medications more affordable.

Attach on Rivals

While talking about his accomplishments, like boosting computer chip manufacturing across the country, Biden went off script to call out Republicans. He said if they voted against these policies but still wanted to take credit for the benefits in their home districts, they should let him know. In simple words, Biden highlighted his real achievements while calling out the other side for contradictory behaviour.

Palestine issue in State of the Union

 The ongoing Gaza conflict was a key focus in Biden's speech today, where the president assured that the US military will establish a temporary port off Gaza to ensure swift delivery of humanitarian aid. Ahead of the president's address, several members of Congress, including Representatives Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, wore Palestinian keffiyehs as a symbolic gesture. The image of the two congresswomen using the traditional Palestinian at the US Capitol captured attention in Biden's State of the Union address in Washington, DC.
