Bumble Spec Ad

Conceptualized, scripted, shot, and edited a narrative-driven spec ad for Bumble, centered around the idea that first impressions on dating apps don’t always reflect reality.

The story follows a young woman in search of meaningful connection who initially dismisses a seemingly arrogant match on Bumble. However, a chance real-life encounter reveals a more human, vulnerable side of him, challenging her perception. This interaction subtly influences the man to reflect and reframe how he presents himself on the app, ultimately leading to a renewed digital connection between the two.

The film explores the interplay between online personas and real-world authenticity, using a blend of grounded storytelling and character-driven moments to resonate with modern dating experiences. My contribution spanned scripting, visual direction, and post-production, with a focus on maintaining emotional continuity and delivering a relatable yet aspirational narrative aligned with Bumble’s brand voice.
