Out of 878 applicants, I was one of the 161 shortlisted for the interview round of The Ultimate Freelancing Guide, a freelancing scholarship by Ankur Warikoo and Team WebVeda.

I didn’t get selected in the final round, but I won over my own mind once again.

Last year, I was just a viewer watching his podcast where he spoke about how tough his hiring process is, and my mind whispered, “Don’t even try.”

This year, I made it to the final round of his internship and now to the final round of his scholarship programme.

The persistence muscle for a meaningful career is building up, not just by showing up but also by saying: “If I didn’t get this, I’ll surely get something more aligned.”

And that is my real win.
