ORM - Brand Response Strategy & Social Media Communication.

The goal of this assignment wasn't to write generic "sorry for the inconvenience" replies. It was to actually understand each brand's real social media voice tone, structure, and how they resolve issues and write responses that sound like they genuinely came from that brand, not a template. Since this is for a fintech ORM role, there was an added objective: keep responses compliance-aware, meaning never ask for confidential details (account, card, application info) in a public reply.

Research Methodology

For each brand, a 4-step process was followed:

Studied real complaint threads on the brand's official handle Myntra (Instagram), SBI Card (LinkedIn), Lenskart (Facebook), Scapia (X) - to see how they actually reply to customers.

Checked the brand's grievance/support policy on their website to understand what they realistically commit to publicly (timelines, escalation process, support channels).

Mapped a response pattern for each brand - what tone they open with, what they ask the customer for, and what they promise.

Factored in platform differences the same brand speaks differently depending on the platform, so Instagram (warm, casual), LinkedIn (formal), X (short, direct), and Facebook (structured, strategy-driven) were treated separately.

Key Finding

All four brands follow one common structure: Acknowledge → Stay non-defensive → State a realistic next step → Move specifics to a private channel. What changes is only the tone and pacing, based on the platform. This same principle was applied across all four tasks.
