Objective
Redesign an existing SparX Instagram carousel to improve visual hierarchy, readability on mobile, and narrative flow, while staying consistent with the brand’s tone, typography, and color system. The goal was to make complex ideas scannable, editorial, and emotionally engaging within a 4-slide format.
Approach
I treated the carousel as a story, not four posters:
– Slide 1 acts as a poster-style opener to stop the scroll.
– Slide 2 establishes credibility through an editorial portrait treatment.
– Slide 3 introduces tension using fragmented questions and visual pressure.
– Slide 4 resolves with calm spacing and a single, clear call to action.
Typography was restructured into a clear system, color was used only for emphasis, and each slide was designed to communicate one idea in under two seconds.
Time Required
4–5 hours (concept, redesign, execution)
Conclusion
This redesign focuses on clarity over decoration and system thinking over styling. Every decision was made to improve mobile readability, storytelling, and conversion while maintaining SparX’s visual identity.
