Role Objective
To manage leads from initial interest through qualification, discovery, proposal, negotiation and closure while representing One Digital Land credibly. The person should combine strong relationship-building with structure, persistence and commercial confidence. This role is not limited to calling; it requires ownership of the entire sales Progression.
Detailed Scope of Work
- Review new inbound, referral, event, LinkedIn and outbound leads; understand source, context and prior communication before reaching out.
- Respond promptly through the appropriate channel and establish a professional, warm first interaction.
- Qualify opportunities based on requirement, authority, urgency, budget, fit and expected scope.
- Conduct discovery calls independently or support the founder on strategic calls, depending on lead value and complexity.
- Ask relevant questions about the prospect’s business, current marketing, growth priorities, internal capacity, challenges, decision process and timelines.
- Present ODL’s services and case studies in a consultative manner rather than using a generic pitch.
- Recommend the right service or phased engagement instead of forcing every lead into the same package.
- Coordinate with the internal team to prepare accurate proposals, scopes, commercials, timelines and supporting material.
- Send proposals with strong context and clear next steps; confirm receipt and schedule the next discussion.
- Maintain a disciplined follow-up cadence without becoming aggressive or careless with the relationship.
- Handle common objections relating to budget, timing, internal resources, proof, decision-making and comparison with alternatives.
- Negotiate within approved boundaries and seek internal approval before making discounts, guarantees or non- standard commitments.
- Drive closure, payment initiation and a smooth handover to operations once the engagement is confirmed.
- Maintain the CRM with opportunity stage, value, probability, next action, decision-makers, objections and closure notes.
- Analyse lost opportunities and provide feedback that can improve service packaging, proposals, lead quality and marketing messages.
