Case in hand

This role is about finding and driving interesting conversations.

You are being tasked to host a 15 min online interview. Think of this like a podcast or a session on the topic of Should you do an MBA?. You’ll be the host and you have to interview someone who can bring interesting nuances to this topic.

Here’s a short checklist of what you’ll be required to do:

- Find out who will be an interesting speaker on this topic
- Can be either someone who did an MBA or even someone who didn’t
- Leverage your network to reach out to them and host them for an interview
- Figure out what can be interesting pointers to cover and conduct the interview
- Record the interview (you can host this over Zoom or Google Meet)
- Write down the key takeways, think of these being shared as a social media post after the interview as pointers for someone who couldn’t attend the same.

 

Submission Guidelines:

Your final submission should be Notion doc. It should contain the following:

- Recording of the interview (max 15-20 mins)
- A quick note on the profile of the person you are interviewing and why you chose them.
- Key Takeaways from the interview

you’ll be judged on your ability to curate the conversation (speaker, flow and structure), the energy of the conversation itself and your ability to draft clear and actionable takeaways.

 

Going the extra mile

If you can host the session publicly by inviting an audience and taking their questions, then nothing like it. You can simply launch this on your socials or relevant college/friend circle to get people to attend the interview live as you take it and even ask questions to the speaker.
