• Objective: Use different footage and edit it your way! Same level of quality as Task 1, but your personality, style, and creativity should take the spotlight.
• Why it matters: We love editors who bring new ideas to the table. This is your moment.

  • Make it bold, fun, current, and scroll-stopping.
  • Feel free to use your favorite effects, transitions, or editing quirks and show us you can do better than what we are expecting!

Task 3: Thumbnail Time!

• Objective: Create a thumbnail using the provided image.
• Why it matters: Thumbnails are the first impression—we want to see how you grab attention.
• Expectations: Make it pop! Use colors, text, or layout that reflects the energy of the reel.

Task 4: Your Workflow, Your Way (Loom Video)

• Create a Loom video explaining:
  
  • What platform you edited on
  • What AI tools or plugins you used (if any)
  • Your workflow & thought process
  • Time spent on each task (rough is okay!)

Why this matters: We care about how you work just as much as what you create.

 

Task 5: AI Wizardry (Loom + Clip)

• Let us see a detailed workflow with Text-to-Image or Image-to-Video tools.
• Show us a short video clip you’ve created using AI.
• Walk us through how you did it in a short Loom video.

This is just an extra space to geek out a bit and show off your curiosity.
