The scope of this assignment is to work on preparing a survey for a report titled "From Offer to Onboarding", specifically targeting the engineering hiring process. The aim is to uncover insights into the hiring journey from the point of offer acceptance to the onboarding of engineers.

Additional context

In this report, we would like to explore the offer-to-joining ratio, examine the drop-off rates, and identify tactics used to improve these metrics. The idea is to gain perspectives from both the hiring companies and the engineers about notice periods, decision-making factors, and reasons for quitting.

Problem Statement

Based on the context shared above, there are two aspects we would like you to work on:

Output 1

Prepare a survey to capture data from both engineers and companies (hiring managers) to glean insights on the final stage of a hiring process: “From Offer to Onboarding”. The survey should contain:

12 questions: 6 targeting engineers and 6 targeting hiring companies.
The structure of the survey and its questions should be crafted in a manner that is engaging and encourages candid responses, reflecting the style used in this survey: Survey link.

Output 2

Additionally, also share a Google doc explaining why you chose the specific set of questions included in the survey. This should include a rationale for each question included.
