Assignment (50-60 Mins)

Here’s a mini assignment to evaluate the candidates for the App marketer role (with ad, social, and numbers sense). The goal is to see how you think, create, and communicate without overloading them.

Title: Create a Mini App Marketing Plan for dotme.in (available on app & play stores)

Context

You're working with a content agency that just helped a client launch a new link in bio tool for creators. Now the product is in the growth stage, priced at ₹999/month, and the team wants to hit 1,000 paying users in 3 months.

Your job is to create an organic + paid awareness push for this launch that helps in acquiring new users for DotMe

Part 1: Draft a 3 months strategy to acquire new users (20–25 mins)

About the product: Dotme is redefining what a link-in-bio platform can be in 2025. Built with creators, entrepreneurs, and brands in mind, Dotme focuses on deep personalization, seamless e-commerce integrations, lightning-fast performance, and real-time analytics- all while keeping the user experience beautifully simple.

Create a user acquisition strategy through paid ads using Meta, Google and Apple ads

Part 3: Quick Numbers & Thinking (10-15 mins)

Answer these:

If the CAC is ₹300 and the product sells for ₹999/year, is that good? Why or why not?

Suggest one experiment you'd run with a ₹20K ad budget. How would you measure if it worked?
