Objective:
To explore why leading AI companies like OpenAI and Anthropic are not actively building in the voice AI space (e.g., ElevenLabs), despite it being an attractive and rapidly growing market. The video breaks down this contrast using a mix of storytelling, motion design, and visual metaphors.
Approach:
Instead of directly explaining the concept through talking-head content alone, I used visual storytelling to simplify the idea:
Bird vs airplane analogy to represent natural vs engineered intelligence
Minimal motion design to maintain clarity and focus
Structured comparison (agility vs scale) to reinforce the argument visually
Selective use of stock footage integrated into a consistent design system
The goal was to support the speaker’s ideas rather than overpower them with edits.
Creative Decisions:
Maintained a clean, minimal visual language inspired by modern startup content
Used subtle kinetic typography only at key moments to enhance curiosity
Focused on pacing and restraint instead of heavy transitions
Ensured all elements (animation, footage, talking head) feel part of one system
Tools Used:
Premiere Pro, Photoshop (for assets & layout), basic motion design techniques
Conclusion:
The project demonstrates how complex ideas can be communicated through simple, intentional visuals. Instead of over-editing, the focus was on clarity, consistency, and reinforcing the core message, something essential for content strategy in today’s attention economy.
