While building Fueler for the last 3 years, I have received multiple questions countless times regarding the different marketing roles and what salary they can expect. Be it for entry-level or while changing to a new job, the number or salary range is a helpful aspect for anyone

In India, the marketing landscape is diverse, consisting of various roles that cater to different aspects of marketing strategies and execution. While the salary range varies from company to company, Industry type, and company stage we have collected data to help you navigate this confusion. Here are the different roles with their range (entry to experienced level)

  • Mid-level professionals can expect salaries between ₹6 lakhs to ₹12 lakhs.

Always remember salary depends mainly on four major factors

  • Brand Manager
  • The average salary is ₹14,50,500 per year, with a base pay range of ₹8L–₹20L/yr. Additional cash compensation is around ₹1,50,000, with a range of ₹65,000–₹2,00,000. 


  • Digital Marketing Manager

  • A Director of Marketing makes ₹22L–₹60L/yr, and a Senior Director of Marketing makes ₹45L–₹50L/yr.

  • Interns make INR 10,000 to INR 15,000 per month, those with 0–1 years of experience make INR 1.5 LPA to INR 4 LPA, those with 1–3 years of experience make INR 2 LPA to INR 6 LPA, and those with 2–4 years of experience make INR 3 LPA to INR 7 LPA
