Hello Friends,
Tweets are one of the best way to conveying our thoughts to the world, but we usually struggle when it comes to sharing them over other platforms.
That’s when TweetPik come as a savior for us. A tool that helps us convert Tweet into image and share that wherever you want.
Let’s discover how Bruno’s creator journey started, and he ended up building TweetPik 👇
Q. As you are currently building “TweetPik”, curious to know how your journey as a creator started?
A. I always liked to create things, specially side-projects. I think side-projects are great for developing tech and business skills.
Q. What’s the first-ever thing you have built or created?
A. The first side-project that I made public was logre.io some years ago. I had a lot of fun building it, but it didn’t grow up as TweetPik, but it still has some signups.
Q. What’s that one thing you want to achieve in 2021?
A. I want to finish the year having TweetPik making 5K MRR. I think this would be great.
Q. What’s that one thing you are most curious about?
A. It depends on a lot, depending on my current context. Sometimes I’m very curious about tech, and sometimes I’m curious about arts, business growth, or even exotic birds.
Q. What’s the one mistake you have done and will advice others not to repeat that?
A. Do not be afraid to release your project and make it public. I’ve been learning a lot with that. I didn’t finish or launch many projects in the past, afraid of the comments and community perception.
Q. Which book you are reading these days? Which Genre excites you the most?
A. I’ve been reading a lot about business growth. The last two that I read were “Growth” and “The Embedded Entrepreneur”.
Q. What do you love to do when not working? Any hobbies you want to share?
A. I love to be with my wife and baby birds — I have a cockatiel and a ring-neck. I also love to draw, play Apex Legends on PS4, and get some time relaxing on the beach.
Q. Can you name three Creators on Twitter that inspire you most?
A. I’ve been following Jim Raptis, Kenneth Cassel, and Bhanu Teja
Q. What’s something you learnt/realized recently that you wish you learnt/realized much earlier?
A. How to properly run SEO and content marketing. I’m still a noobie on these subjects, but I started my journey to learn more every day, and it has been helping TweetPik a lot.
Q. Can you tell a bit about your current project?
A. Sure thing. TweetPik started as a Twitter screenshot tool with no expectations to make money, but people liked it a lot, and some users started to use it every day and ask for support and extra features. So, I started to try to monetize it.
It took about two months to find the “right” way. Now, TweetPik is growing, and I have Jason as TweetPik’s CEO helping me drive and grow the business. I’m very excited to see what TweetPik is going to be in the future.
Q. What’s that one book/movie that has changed your complete perspective about the world?
A. “Outliers”. I highly recommend this book. It made me realize how the context and external events can define our lives, and how uncontrolled these can be.
Q. What would you recommend to others who are looking to start their careers in the startup/SaaS space on how to go about it?
A. Have a good portfolio is pretty helpful. Not only to practice the tech skills but to understand some business mechanics since the worker is going to play multiple roles on startups.
Q. Suppose there is a big whiteboard in front of you. What’s the first line you would like to write?
A. Take your time, go for it, but don’t give up.
Q. Who is one underrated person you believe in the creator community whose story should be shared with the world?
A. I would like to know more @AdamDDurrant
A tool to capture and share professional screenshots of your tweets.
