5 Side Hustles to Make 15k per Month with Zero Investment from Home

Are you tired of asking your parents for money? And you want to earn money from home to pay for your expenses, like purchasing games, movie tickets, and more. Then you are in the right place — whether you are a student or preparing for any exams — anyone can make money from these 5 side hustles with 0 investment.

I can read your mind, and your first thought will be “0 Investment?” Yup, Zero Investment. You don't need to pay a single penny to make money. I will not sell 1,500 courses, nor will I suggest you buy any. The 5 side hustles I will share will be very easy, and anyone can master them by giving 2 or 1 hour daily.

1. Freelance Writing

In freelance writing, I'm specifically talking about “Content Writing” and "Copywriting." Since the pandemic, content writing and copywriting have been popular side hustles for students and working professionals.

Brands pay a lot for those who can write good scripts, articles, blogs, emails, newsletters, and copies. Some writers even make $1k per month from freelance writing, or they can write for one brand and earn around 10k to 30k based on their skills and experience.

This is the side hustle I'm doing, and it's been super beneficial for me. I started writing from a 6k smartphone 😭, and I didn't even have a laptop to write on then. Still, I could make a decent amount of money.

There are several free courses available on the internet for learning content writing and copywriting. Aim to learn the skill, then write content and publish it on LinkedIn, Twitter, Fueler, and Medium to get eyeballs. This way, you will create proof of work that you can later use as a portfolio.

I won't suggest applying for those so-called "unpaid internships"; search for paid internships or freelance gigs. I will write an article about it.

2. Social Media Manager

Are you someone who loves spending hours on Instagram, YouTube, and X (formerly known as Twitter)? Then, this role is perfect for you. Social Media Managers handle a brand's social media pages and play a pivotal role in the page's growth.

It also includes reaching out to other pages for collaboration, creating a content media calendar, and much more.

Even though there are multiple social media management courses available online, your go-to plan should be to grow a social media page from scratch.

It's recommended you create a social media page and grow it. In addition, you will use it to get clients by showing your growth.

On average, social media managers earn around 20k to 30k. Also, remember that as a beginner, your pay would be less, so choose to freelance instead.

3. Graphic Design

Aside from writing, graphic design is the second most-paid side hustle on the internet. Aside from good content, a good thumbnail or graphic makes the audience click on your content.

There are some free graphic design courses available on YouTube from which you can excel in your graphic design skills. Even if you don't have a PC to install Photoshop, try creating designs on Canva. However, industry professionals do not recommend using Canva, so please consider learning Photoshop in the future.

To get clients, I will suggest the same: create and market your design on Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Fueler, and other social media platforms.

4. Tutoring

Tutoring is very popular among my friends because it's super easy. You will need to tutor school students for 2 hours and make around 10k monthly. This might be the easiest side hustle you can do. Not only is it time-efficient work, but it also helps with studies.

The only hard work you need to do here is to find the parents who can pay your quoted money. Because I know some friends who have burned out from teaching for low pay.

5. Voice-over Artist

The last side hustle on this list would be a voice-over artist. Video creators need voice-over artists for their videos or any audio-related work. Even though AI started taking over the voice-over industry, it can't replicate the emotion of a human, which you have.

You will need a mic, which would cost you under 1k. Well, you can also record your voice from a smartphone, but it won't be as impactful as what you can get from a mic.

There are some popular voice artists and dubbing artists who give tips on voicing. You can check out Sanket Mhatre's Instagram handle, in which he has shared some guidance on voicing.

If you opt for freelancing, on average, a voice-over artist charges around $20 per 150 words. Sometimes more than that.

Even though you won't need to invest any money at the start, upgrade yourself with the right equipment to get more clients in the future.
